The best about this hotel is its location. Right at the start of Vitosha street, and within walking distance of all attractions in the center and subway station.
The hotel itself looks a bit dated, reminding of the grand style of famous hotels in other world cities. It is not run down or anything, it's kept clean, but it's just the style that is a bit dated.
In general, staff is attentive and helpful, and the stay was pleasant. Food prices though are completely out of touch with Sofia reality, even in comparison with other similar hotels in the city. But you … read more

In the middle of the center is the Sheraton balkan perfect base for discovery sofia. With the public transport leads to all areas of sofia, because metro-, bus- and tram stops are in the immediate area of the hotel. Even applies to shops, entertainment and catering.
Rather negative with me the hotel, because not all spg benefits were granted. Although many suites available when my prior refused the hotel, me upgrade to a suite to give. Good choice for a professional stay. I wasn't with children so couldn't say if it's good there or not. I haven't enjoy any facilities but it seems as a fun place. Was very central so could go to lot of nice restaurant at walikng distance. … read more
