Small great hotel with good price performance ratio. Staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a great holiday and much of the island through various excursions. Since during our holiday time there were almost only germans, we had also seen on the tv news brief german, but unfortunately it was not possible. A suggestion to the management! read hotel review

We booked 2 weeks Maritius and for us it was an absolute dream vacation, but not necessarily at the hotel. With the hotel le surcouf, we have mixed experience. First the positive: room, size and cleanness were 1 a and almost every room had a balcony with sea view. What the cleanliness and the service in the restaurants is, we can our speakers only follow. Cleanliness and punctuality and service at meal times we here only moderately important. The quality of the food was good, the selection but very sparse. The hotel area with pool and terrace is very nice ..., but it is unfortunately not so much of it. Especially in the pool and patio area was the wind torn, coconuts and umbrellas shook in the wind and threatened at any time down or fall over and the tables were rarely properly wiped. The beach section of the hotel was unfortunately often quite neglected and the seaweed, which washed ashore, was only irregular removed by the hotel staff. But because we like to walk out are, we are just at the beach direction north walked. The beach is indicated as the next hotel immediately nice and well-kept, so we were just there for bathing established, where it pleased us. So if you like the area on own fist explored and also the one or the other eye with service and cleanliness of a blind eye, that is here correct. Which pleased us well at le surcouf was, that this hotel is nicely arranged and not too huge. A dream beach is not directly before the hotel. The next beaches start but around the corner, are very good (from 5-10 minutes) and offer the possibility to kilometer-long beach strolls, one of which is more beautiful than the other. As it Maritius no private beaches are, you should also everywhere go swimming, if you are a hotel guest or not.     The employees must always be said, if something was missing: buffet bowls those are empty, dishes which ran out, etc. If the breakfast from 07:00 a. m. as advertised, then i expect, that everything was ready and i not to 07:15 a. m. on the coffee have to wait, or to 07:40 a. m. to the omelet chef begins its work, although i did at 07:10 a. m. have requested. Since the dining room daily, but between breakfast and lunch be cleaned, it may well happen, that still leftovers from the evening before on the floor rum beach chairs.     When we went for breakfast, there was daily dishes at the pool and the surroundings bellhops from the night before. The guests cleared very often even on.     Garden The garden area was very nice and very quiet. Beach chairs too little. The palms are not maintained, there are too many coconuts different ripeness from the palms. When we the cyclone with stage 2 experienced, fell some nuts as 3-4 meters long Palm-branches down. The danger is clear, even without storm-announcement. Beach section Beach section of the hotel belonged to worst of belle mare. The slightly elevated area especially older people badly to the beach down, since large stones than hangbefestigung were put. Other beach sections have this problem much less. Much nicer beaches are but after 10-30 minutes walking distance, depending on, where it pleases one.

The hotel is under new management and the manager was very often locally and tried complaints immediately to fix it. Unfortunately, it is due to the fact that very much only besort are not always immediately possible. But where is it perfect? Not even in paradise. We felt in the two weeks very comfortable, the only thing that bothered me were the seaweed on the beach despite all efforts difficult to remove. So we often had other beaches. In addition unfortunately the problem of the small beach section a bit steep and the number of beach chairs was more than ... poor. We also missed the umbrellas on the beach on any picture to see.     The hotel is very peacefully located. In the more immediate vicinity there was except other hotels nothing. You can take a taxi but cheap everywhere. The hotel not recommended are too expensive. The beach in front of the hotel is not so nice, but if you are going to the beach, you will find beautiful beaches. Beach chairs were free of charge at the hotel.

After the study of the evaluations delivered before we flew with mixed feelings to Maritius and came full of positive impressions satisfied back. The hotel is located in a very well maintained park-like grounds right next to the sea, the rooms, all with a view of the sea, were clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the chief of the Bootshaus Robby, could as interpreters and organizer of inexpensive taxi and boat tours sparkle. The beach was daily from washed up seaweed (nature!) Cleaned and if you wanted you could snorkel things, pedal boats ... and kayaks free of charge check-out counters. The food (we had all-inclusive) was afternoons and evenings spotless only the breakfast should rich (sausage, cheese, tomatoes) But if you on hear fun and entertainment is, is in the le surcouf in the wrong place and should in one of the larger hotels in. We the peace and quiet and the easy going atmosphere suits well and we can our hotel absolutely recommend. Since our return flight went only in the evening, we asked for late check-out from our room (officially until 12 o'clock) this request was free fulfilled. The transfer from and to the airport was done by taxi, so no sammeltransport on the whole island, what very pleasant and time-saving was. read hotel review

For the hotel le surcouf village in the north-east of Maritius true in our opinion the value for money. For a 2- star hotel according to country category we had expected less. Our assigned room was very spacious with a well-functioning air conditioning and an also very spacious bath. The room seemed fairly new and quite tastefully. The complex consists of smaller 2-story flats. These units are 'complicated' construction, so you have your neighbors not into the room looks and 'condominium'-character arises. The accommodation units are in a quite nice laid out park embedded. This hotel fulfills surely not high ... gardener-expectations – but we found them quite nice and matching. The houses have a schilfeindeckung, the whole quite a natural flair. The rooms are so installed, that all units view of the sea have. A shade-giving palm grove prevented however unrestricted view of the sea, what we didn't find disturbing. The room seemed fairly new. The combination from balcony, sleep -/living room and bath was very spacious and tasteful-much better than expected. The large flat screen tv returns only regional. We didn't use it. The safe is a ' usual ' hotel-model and free of charge. The staff has a key (if you want to have?) We had no problems with use and handling. The room staff in our experience again and again with a new decorated bed surprised. There is a kettle and a nachgefüllten consisted of coffee and tea for selbstaufkochen. We have regularly used and appreciated. Kleininsekten are a problem. Despite gecko in the room one must with kleinstameisen the room-also on the top floor -room. The we have 'seen' -but no inconvenience. If you impulse adopted, must at the front desk for pest control ask. In the twilight-especially in the wind or little wind-must 'piercing' insects be expected. In the room there is pads and a electrical plugs for the inclusion of the pads. Plates and cutlery were dirty, so we had no appetite. Beach section is very narrow and bad accessible. The eastern coast one could only to kitesurfing recommend or stay at the luxury hotel there the offer very small is (recommend definitely the west side). From the eastern coast is the most far away. The hotel is at most guests not good. read hotel review

- there were no stairs to the beach, had over larger rock clamber - guests resulted because of the loungers, of the hotel manager an absolute pay freeze in things competence, the slovaks directed on you alone in the hotel, very unpleasant gefühlszustand - the dishes were partly so dirty which we it exchanges had to, especially knives forks and mugs - the food wasn't just what one as varied title could, bland and partly bland - hotel tours completely covered and expensive not recommendable - unfortunately is the island dirty and the beaches are so dirty, it could have ... been a great island read hotel review
