We booked through the Internet a double room for a total of 57 euros without breakfast. The rooms are relatively old furnished, but the cleanliness therefor. The bathroom is okay and clean. What's annoying is, after a shower, half the bathroom swam, with only a shower curtain and no real shower stall is available. With the windows open you should sleep due to the volume of traffic is not necessarily. But we must also bear in mind, that we are in a city and not stay in the country. In summary you could say the room: simply, but clean. The hotel is in a … read more

For a city trip to London suitable, as an ideal starting point for all activities. Jungfernstieg/Town Hall in about five minutes footpath to reach; underground gänsemarkt in the immediate vicinity. In the middle of the city, the rooms are nothing for noise sensitive (sleep with the window open difficult). Service without consistent standard, very depended on the person. The furnishing was dated (70er years); the rooms are clean, but rather small. Gastronomy in cooperation with a Chinese restaurant (including cocktails): the (limited choice) is served there. There was no padding, in other words before o'clock (Sunday) nine there was no … read more

The hotel is tucked away behind the drab exterior of a parking garage (hotel guests get 50% discount). Also inside everything seemed a bit tired and drab, but spotlessly clean. With the room we were basically satisfied, but not with the bathroom. Here of the shower curtain on her leg, the faucet and the fan sounds like an infernal machine. The breakfast room is cozy, and the breakfast was plentiful, but no 7 €value. The central location of the 'Opera' absolute therefor and the other disadvantages offsets. So I would select it again. … read more

We could suspend the hotel itself nothing, it was ideal for a city break, as you can walk in less than five minutes walk from the Alster Lake, etc. was of good places to go shopping! The breakfast buffet or rather the service in the adjoining China-restaurant we can't recommend, the two servers were (!) with the small number of guests (we were in till ten o'clock breakfast, there was not much was happening anymore) was completely overwhelmed. Positive was, that you can enjoy your breakfast o'clock be eleven. All in all an older standard hotel, but due to its central location … read more

I can easily concur with the assessment of Berlin. (July 2006) Christian great location, super clean room, garage for 6.50 €per day there. The photos on www. Hotel-oper. de reflect the reality again. The rooms are small and a little old fashioned furnished, but clean. The bathroom was also very clean. What more could you ask for?! Price/performance ratio was top! From the parking garage we heard nothing. Service and friendliness of the staff was totally fine! Breakfast can I say nothing, as Christian said, only 2 minutes more. from the city Café visit. Sunday brunch at the Alex for 8.70 … read more
