Kind and efficient, also a little Italian spoken.Sophisticated Swiss-French cuisine. Always good quality. The kids menu is a little too 'traditional'.Nice rooms with balcony. TV and radio. Big bathroom with a window.Beautiful position in front of the mountains, suitable for hiking in the wonderful Bettmeralp Region. Food (breakfast and supper) is really very good. Suitable for families. Not for disabled: two floors with no lift!Free access to the local swimming pool, very good especially for kids.The town is delicious, no cars are allowed! Superb. We could not believe how huge our room was. I think we must have got an upgraded room because the room was just huge, the view from the balcony was well photographed by us! I don't remember fridge or tea or coffee but we weren't there for that. It may have been there it may not. If it wasn't we'd have gotten our tea/coffee from the restaurant downstairs. can't remember now. So we didn't want frills but the bed was comfortable, furniture modern, room spacious, they even gave us the use of a spare alarm clock so we would … read more

Location
The hotel is situated in the heart of the car-free holiday resort of Bettmeralp. Guests will be amazed by the splendid views over the many 4,000-metre-plus-high summits in the Valais. There are restaurants within 200 metres of the hotel, Betten train station is 2 km away, Alpmuseum Riederalp is 6.3 km away and there are shops around 3.1 km away. The ski area is just a 3-minute walk, and it is approximately 20 km to Brig.
Facilities
The ski hotel has been welcoming guests into a true family atmosphere for 38 years, and making each and every one of them feel right at home throughout their stay. Facilities available to guests at the 25-room hotel include a lobby with a hotel safe and lift access to the upper floors, a children's playground, restaurant, conference facilities and a laundry service.
