My deepest impression of Savista during the time I stayed here is the idea of peace and relaxation. I have done some traveling and have stayed at different hotels, but Savista has given me a feeling that is unlike any others. It wasn't just a place to stay for the night, although it may be for some. It felt more like a vacation all in of itself. There are many ways to relax and simply enjoy the peace of the surrounding environment. Everyone is very nice and accommodating, ready to lend a hand, an advice, or even a smile. The … read more

Imagine you had to rate and review your childhood home - a place of love and peace, where your every need was met and you learned so much about yourself and the world around you. That is the task I am faced with here, as I am writing about Savista Retreat where I stayed for 7 nights in February 2012. But I shall try to be objective.
As a part of my stay, I had booked a yoga-and-massage-detox package. I learned so much about healthy eating, yoga and the balance of mind and spirit. It was rewarding beyond expectations, but even … read more

Of course you get the services that you traditionally get in a hotel (room-cleaning, breakfast, concierge), but at Savista you have it in a much more original and personal way.
Everyone is very helpfull and welcoming, and the hosts are straining to inform, help and service you in every possible way - above and beyond! We were offered a great chance to walk with some of the local women to their village and home - an intense and very original experience.
Tap water is safe and the foods and snacks are very delicious and local. Fair prices. Ask the hosts about … read more

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The owners know perfect english and will attend to your every need, if you so desire, or let you be.Delicious, locally grown food. Best Indian food I had in all of India. Hands down.Very clean, spacious and simply but tastefully decorated!A few good friends of mine had stayed at Savista Retreat before and highly recommended it for it's simplicity and quiet-- and after staying there, I have to agree. It's a perfect way to get out of the hustle and bustle of urban India and enjoy some quiet time in the countryside. That … read more

Savista Retreat was my home away from home for about two weeks this past January. I honestly can’t say enough about the place. The haveli is a beautifully kept piece of family history, and the rooms within are spacious, comfortable, clean, and meticulously decorated with impressive antique finds and locally fabricated furnishings. The whole place is gorgeous at night, and the common square or accessible upper terrace are great places to sit and observe the luminous night sky only rural Rajasthan can provide.
Staying at Savista is completely unlike staying in any other hotel. It’s more like a home-stay, as you … read more
