In conclusion our round trip we were in this good city hotel for. For a night it's always difficult to get a detailed report and impression goes, but what we saw was completely fine and we would go back this hotel book.
Unfortunately, it was not central in San Jose area, but somewhat outside, so that one does not just the capital visit could. But around the hotel was for example a shopping center and plenty of bars and restaurant, where I especially the pers MEX (or similar) to recommend can. Everything is just right here.

We were by accident that we ended up in the RAMADA. We stayed in S. J. arrived without a reservation and actually wanted to the airport select a hotel, but there were at our surprise not the usual hotel-reference. Ramada offers an hourly, free shuttle service, which we used last minute.
Introdution: the hotel is a real highlight, however, we felt for 3 days stopover quite comfortable and price was adequate.

I have a night before my domestic flight and another before my flight home to Germany spent in this hotel. The location is very central to the highway number 1 location. There is a free shuttle bus, the hourly to the international airport drive (10 to 15 minutes) the national airport you can reach with the taxi in 30 minutes ( 18 Dollar)
Opposite the highway is a shopping center with many restaurants. This can be reached from the hotel over a footbridge in 5 minutes.

This is a older hotel in almost direct proximity to the airport.
this of us had a hotel as we were very early in the morning our departure flight having regard to Germany had. The room was a good size equipped, but there were signs of usage to see. The 'soft drinks area' in the bathtub was broken. But since we were there only a night stay had, we apart from the local drawbacks.
