Quiet location, at the foot of the mountain is the Heidelberg Castle, somewhat aged Hotel. As a base for exploring the old town but ideally located, since one is in few steps in the middle of the restaurant and shopping area (main road) of Heidelberg's old town.
We had a generous cut double room, which by the slope of the schlossberg, however it was relatively dark. Had also, due to the location, the bathroom, no window, but for this stay didn't bother us. Nice house on parking garage-to sleep and have breakfast it was enough though, our balcony our car was directly at the fahrstuhlhalt output the cable car station is the castle or to the Königsstuhl and just two minutes walk, then you are in the middle of the beautiful old town. We stayed at the December for two days in order to visit Heidelberg the Christmas market. The location of the hotel is very centrally located. The Christmas market is only a few steps away from the hotel. The valley station of the train selbern Heidelberg in the house. Also there is a bus station directly in front of the hotel. The downside is, that the house to Colonel of a multi-storey car park is, so sometimes long waiting periods for the elevator. The friendliness of the staff was good for German conditions. i was already for the second time in this hotel, that was the last time.
the cleanliness left a lot to be desired on this occasion, and the breakfast buffet was also very poor.
there are simply too many 125.00 euros for a double room, because in a Berlin middle, for EUR 80.00 (O. Breakfast) in the August very great lived.

The hotel actually consists of several rooms with breakfast area and is located in the seventh floor of a parking garage (we paid extra for the car eight €per day fee) which at the same time, the valley station of the cable car Heidelberg is. Our room was spacious, however very darkly, but for sleeping it was enough, everything was clean and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. The staff is nice and helpful (except for single gentlemen at the front desk the better surf the Internet and übrighaben not even a hello or good day for guests).
