The house was fresh at some places but only temporarily. for example in the shower (I suspect) large buckles which were filled with filler, where strong rust now accumulating. Also very unfortunate is that despite two wireless internet access is not everywhere. But one can pay no attention to see as a PC with Internet connection is available, you can use at any time. Very friendly service in the entire hotel. Great location, amazing views of the lake of Thun and the mountains, in a very quiet location. Very large and very clean rooms. Nice, varied breakfast including fresh fruit, different kinds of bread and bread rolls, jam selbsgekochte etc. is run by a Swiss and an Australian, thus a Swiss cuisine with an international twist, very tasty. We were treated royally by the hotel owners and all the staff. They were so friendly that I wanted to invite them to visit us in the States.They serve a standard breakfast, but the evening meal is fantastic. The chef makes specialties that are wonderful.Quiet and with magnificent views. The balcony is covered and large.The hotel is very clean and nicely kept. The rooms are "tucked away" in groups of two and three. It should rate higher than two stars, but I suppose that is because we had to share a bath with one other … read more
