We stayed for two nights over the weekend at this hotel! It is a small and cozy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! The check-in went smoothly, immediately we got our room on the first floor! The room was relatively large and very clean! A flat-screen tv, and a kettle to prepare coffee and tea were also available. here and there already times the room could use some small renovations but all in all, we liked it! Appearance: nice hotel from the outside, but on the whole hotel smells like smoke. For me a nogo for a modern hotel.
Cleanliness: left a lot to be desired, in the bathroom there was still hair from the previous guest, the carpet could use a cleaning, the cushions of the chairs were very stained and (probably due to nicotine) yellowed. Trash was not emptied.
Breakfast without tea (on request got one), margarine and chocolate. Only packaged jam, limp oranges Nektar. Rolls therefor fresh and good. The most vocal accompaniment there was a RTL-soap

We really liked the room, the breakfast was rather poor. First of all, no bread, no butter, was then brought on request. No fruit, no eggs or scrambled eggs, mixed meats and cheese platter not the number of guests accordingly. Drinks were covered with aluminum foil. No breakfast buffet as you would expect for the price (98, -€) wishes. Staff member was alone and was completely overwhelmed, little German. … read more

We had booked the hotel based on the pictures in the brochure and because of its proximity to the city center. Directly at check-in we had to deal with kids' lounge ' by the verqualmte of the mini desk is. Later you can thank goodness the separate entrance use. The room itself was clean, the well-intentioned there kettle, however was not very hygienic clean. In the bathroom there was a hair in the shower and the towels (which after a complaint but very sovereign and was repaired). The hotel is well located, direct access to the beautiful pedestrian area and the old. The hotel made a neat impression, the rooms were friendly and well equipped. Unfortunately, there were hardly any on-site parking. We had to take at least a significant walk and decent parking in purchase. Disappointing but we found the very poor service and a pretentious, Frechen handling of complaints. The staff member took care of it very hard to achieve a apparently under the influence standing staff, and it seemed it time for the guests at breakfast to stay.
