• Accommodation
  Interior design of rooms at Hotel Seerose Elements "Water flows deep..." ["Der tiefgründige Fluss des Wassers"] is the quotation that greets our guests on the first floor. Set against the lightness of the bamboo floor, the flowing grain in the specially designed zebrano wood furniture subtly reinforces the theme of water, its warm tones providing the necessary counterpoint to the cooler blue and green tones of the walls and soft furnishings. While bathrooms have an open-plan design, transparent voile or heavy taffeta drapes can be drawn if greater privacy is desired. In keeping with the water theme, the rooms are categorised either as "Lagoon" or "Cascade", each featuring a colour palette that calls to mind the beauty of lagoons and waterfalls. "Invigorating spices from the earth..." ["Die belebende Würze der Erde"] is the motto presented to guests on the second floor. Attractive dark wenge wood is used on floors and veneers, with most rooms featuring a wall storage unit and washstand to mark the limits of the open bathroom. The severity of the wenge wood provides a contrast to the warm, spicy colours of "Saffron" and "Cayenne". The impressive attention to detail continues in these guest rooms, with special touches such as the steel laser-cut bar and safe handles on closets, the custom-made illuminated washstand mirrors that can be used from both sides of the room, and the built-in tissue box, the integrated wastepaper bin and the drawer for the hairdryer and other grooming accessories. The theme on the top floor is "The unimaginable lightness of air...". ["Die unglaubliche Leichtigkeit der Luft... "]. All rooms on this floor feature a metamorphosis light from Artemide casting its own unique illusionary light. Most rooms in the "Luce" category have a connecting door and double beds and are therefore particularly suitable for parents staying with children. The bathrooms are of closed design but have a large window looking onto the room. A curtain can be drawn if more privacy is required. Designed with skylights that bathe the space in natural light, the four generously proportioned "Fresco" rooms in the gallery include a reception area with guest WC that can be used as a small seminar or meeting room, providing a complete accommodation unit with separate living space, sleeping area and bathroom. Interior design of rooms at Hotel Seerose Classic The redesign of the rooms in Hotel Seerose Classic was inspired by our proximity to the lake. There is no better place to experience water, wind and weather than on the shores of a lake. Branches are broken off by the wind and washed away by the water. Waves, sun, time and wind help create driftwood – naturally aged and worn to create a unique silver patina. A symbol of the passing of time and the changing of nature. This is what drew us towards the distinctive "natural chic" style for Hotel Seerose Classic – authentic and natural – and unique in Switzerland. Inspired by nature: sand, driftwood, stone, weathered wood and natural linen in perfect harmony. The incredibly subtle nuances of colours and materials found only in nature have the effect of making nearby Lake Hallwil appear even more blue. "Natural chic" – a style that avoids showiness in favour of natural, complementary materials. It helps you to relax and creates a harmonious atmosphere of wellbeing, allowing guests to get away from it all while still enjoying modern creature comforts.

The kitchen and waiting staff in our authentic Thai restaurant, Samui-Thai, are dedicated to providing you with the ultimate gourmet experience. Enjoy the flavours of Thailand in a unique atmosphere from 6 pm on Monday to Saturday. Let the authentic interior décor spirit you away to Thailand, without the need for an 11-hour flight... Restaurant Seerose (13 GaultMillau points): With us you are sure to enjoy quality dining at a fair price, whether you opt for a classic "summer dish", a five-course Seerose menu, our monthly specials or traditional specialities paired with appropriate wines. (In 2002 Seerose was awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for one of the best wine lists in the world). In fine weather we will also be delighted to serve you a delicious meal on the Mediterranean terrace. Bar: Our Seerose Bar is the perfect place for you to start your evening in style, enjoy a late nightcap or just pass a few pleasant hours. Free Flow: Newly refurbished in 2010, our "Free Flow" self-service restaurant is located on the left-hand side of the lakeside terrace below Hotel Seerose Classic. It is open every day in fine weather. Pergola: The right-hand side of the lakeside terrace below Hotel Seerose Classic offers waiter service and is open to our guests in fine weather. There is a short menu, offering a range of warm meals and snacks, and a dessert menu.
• Leisure
  Bathing: Make sure to visit our idyllic beach right in front of the hotel. Deck chairs are available to you free of charge. Towels and sun protection can be obtained from Reception. The Meisterschwanden beach is located right next to the Seerose. Pedalos: Our bright-red Ferrari pedalos can be hired for CHF 20 per hour. Life jackets for children can be obtained at Reception for a small deposit. Jogging: There is a lovely track that skirts the shore of Lake Hallwil. Flyer bike: You can hire a Flyer electric bike from us free of charge. Discover the scenic Seetal area in an environmentally friendly way thanks to the battery exchange stations provided along the route. Please contact Reception for further details. Only available during summer season.
• Other facilities and services
  Check-in / Check-out: We guarantee that your room will be ready from 3 pm. On your day of departure please vacate your room and check out by 11 am (Sundays by 12 noon). Please request a late checkout at Reception if you would like to use your room for longer. Seminars: With our variable floor plan and wide range of catering options we are the perfect choice for seminars of all kinds. Just ask at Reception for our seminar information pack. Our events management team will be happy to show you our facilities at any time and give you the practical expert advice you need. Internet access: All hotel rooms have free internet access. In Hotel Seerose Elements the LAN cable connector is beside your telephone while the rooms in Hotel Seerose Classic have a wireless LAN connection.
