A full English country house so like you imagine it to be. Our room was spacious with a view of the green lawn and a lake behind it (the however no eye pasture is). Everything was very well-kept, it is simply relaxing in a deckchair in the hotel garden rest. The hotel isn't in a place, but somewhat remote. You need a car in order to arrive there. It is but also a good starting point for excursions in the area ( tea plantations, erdbeerfarmen etc.). The bathroom was cozy old fashioned. The hotel bar also. Breakfast the next morning was good … read more

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. In any case concerned to help and support. Prompt and reliable. Both at the front desk, serving staff, spa and cleaning staff. With english fits the communication. Cleaning of the rooms good. Welcome massage, welcome cocktail. Upon arrival fruit basket and in the evening either confection or fruit in the room. Particularly to mention : my daughter celebrated on day of arrival birthday and she got to the request) a beautiful cake with candles and congratulations from the entire staff included manager. The cake was as a present and not all nights will be charged.Hotel … read more

The hotel was at the end of our 2 week rental car through Malaysia. It is certainly a very nice hotel with a lot of Charme and transmission, but I would not book again. The rooms are very large and with two children we had two double rooms with a connecting door and plenty of space. The bathroom was very large. In this price range is for me but an air conditioning essential. There was only a small fan on the desk. With the window open you can hear the noise of the street, with the windows closed it was … read more

  • Location
The Cameron Highlands, which occupy the north-western part of the state of Pahang, is Malaysia's largest and most popular hill resort. They are about 3 hours' drive from Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is situated approximately 1,000 m above sea level in the Cameron Highlands, about 200 km north of Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur. Set in an area dubbed the 'The Valley of the Eternal Spring', this Tudor-style country house, backed by state reserve forests, sits atop a hill overlooking the Sultan Abu Bakar Lake. A short distance from the towns of Tanah Rata and Ringlet, it is within close proximity of many key attractions. The centre of Ipoh is just an hour and a half away by car.
  • Facilities
All 18 guest rooms and facilities were refurbished in May 2005. There are eleven deluxe rooms, three junior suites, three family suites and one honeymoon suite. The main wing has 10 deluxe rooms, 2 junior suites and 3 family suites, and the house wing has 1 deluxe room, 1 junior suite and a honeymoon suite. The hotel is air-conditioned and offers guests a wide range of facilities, including an entrance hall, a restaurant, a hotel safe, a WLAN access point, room and laundry services and parking for those arriving by car.
  • Rooms
The rooms have recently been redecorated, with comfortable duvets, new draperies and carpets, retiled bathrooms with a larger vanity area, antique table fans and televisions with cable channels in common rooms. All rooms have four-poster beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, an operator-assisted telephone, separate shower and bathtub, a hairdryer and a full set of personal care toiletries.
  • Meals
The hotel brings guests a fine selection of the best traditional English cuisine, local set menus, a vegetarian menu, drinks and wines, all set to bring guests back to some 'old world' charm.
  • Payment
American Express, Master Card and VISA are accepted as methods of payment.
  • How to get there
The quickest route from Kuala Lumpur is via the North-South Expressway turning in near the town of Tapah. From Tapah, take a scenic road which is about 60 km to the hotel.
