The hotel is quite old and is only for a city trip, where man the hotel exclusively for sleeping uses. The furnishing has the best days ( bed worn, no real flow of water in the bathroom, small mini television with bad picture and only ARD/ ZDF German) and this see one at almost every point. The hotel is located right on the edge of Vondel Park in a quiet residential area. It is just walking distance from the famous Museum district and lies in the south-west corner of the city. The city centre is some 2 km away and guests will find restaurants, bars and shops around 1 km from the hotel. The nearest stop on the public transport network is 500 m away. The hotel enjoys very good connections to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and to the A10 Amsterdam ring road.

The shuttle bus from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport – the Connexxion Airport Hotel Shuttle – leaves from the front of the Arrivals Terminal, from bus stop A7 and stops in front of the hotel. A taxi from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport will take about 20 minutes, and from Central Station, the journey by taxi is around 15 minutes.
