The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English. The room cleaning is sporadic, at least is sometimes not noticed that someone was in the room. nullWe booked the room with Acropolis view for 5 euros a night more. But They could have saved because the view you can only from a side window where you could enjoy a view rooftops. Our room was a 4 bed room with double occupancy. Based on previous nights in Athens budget hotel in the price range is really something, but here was even I speechless. We had two single rooms. Both had only scruffy window into a dirty air exhaust duct. The furniture was old and the closets inside the suitcase moldy, so you better not unpacked. Carpets are old and stained. The bathroom had shower stall and many broken tiles and several times. The pipes were rusty. Shower and duvet were covered with black mold. The bathroom also had to share with cockroaches. We booked a room at this hotel because the such a great location to the old town of Athens ( Plaka) had. We have stayed in Athens on several occasions, but the Myrto we have never experienced something like that. Room was totally dirty, carpet dirty, torn and small Krabbaltiere are also showed up. The bathroom was even determined by 1952 , as the shower didn't work properly and the toilet was not much better. The shower was used, the water is at once, so that almost cold has become a cvd. Staff was very friendly but indifferent and not particularly helpful. nullI can't describe it! Bed dirty, hair and dust all over the place. very strange: 2 large mirrors in the room, the hidden by curtains (?). We didn't dare use the shower, as the bathroom extremely old and dirty.
