Our stay at the Old Town Maestro's Hotel was pleasant in general. The only problem one might be facing is when staying in any room overlooking the Suur Karja street because of the noise from several nightclubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and resolved the issue by giving our family a room on the opposite side of the building. Breakfast was fine - this hotel provides a fair selection of good food.

The overall appearance in the whole hotel was quite gloomy because of the colour of wallpapers, carpeted floors and cheap furniture. The dull small lobby on the second floor with a 'cozy' bar combined to the reception desk and a broken glass door to the breakfast room didn't give a good first impression. We had to wait there half an hour because our booked suite was not ready at 15:00. The suite itself was very spacious with a great sauna and a big jacuzzi. Service front desk super, our needs were exceeded!
Sauna on the sixth floor not used, since 32 euros per hour and 2 hours Mindestbuchungsdauer for 'casual- Saunierer ' too expensive
When checking in at 10:00 we had to refer the election, will be charged a room in the lower floors, or to a higher room to wait! Personnel hard, spoke English, no German (also not expected), check-in and check-out were fast and without Kompliakationen, unfortunately it wasn't possible 1 -2h late check-out at noon was advised to leave the room):! Though is right, in their hotel brochure, this possibility will but it was advertised. So I in cold Schauerwetter 3h time of "todschlagen" until my bus drove to Riga.
