Staff is very friendly, but only spoke english-unfortunately. And the in a 4/5 star hotel!?
The cleaning of the rooms is ok. Complaints or reason we had no.There is a bar, a very conservative impression. So typically for Ireland.
The prices are a bit to get used to. A Guinness 5,40 Euro, i think very respectable.
There is just a restaurant- and this is the breakfast area the evening as italian restaurant used. Strange...Rooms are in a renovierungbedürftigem condition. Wallpaper loose or even from. Holes in the wall of the other furniture. In the bathroom crumbled the joints and chipped tiles.

St. Helens is located just south of the city center and was a mansion, an hotel wing was grown. The whole complex is very well maintained, very nice the garden behind the house. The bar in Orangerie is inviting to stay a while. Only a pool missing.

The hotel is situated on the southern edge of Dublin. The center is about 4km away. A bus stop is just at the hotel entrance and that makes it relatively fast, easy and cheap to go downtown ( where parking is hard to find otherwise anyway). The exterior of the St Helens impressed from the moment you arrive and the garden and the interior design is beautiful. So what I often geared toward wedding parties.
