Many friends and relatives to have us of the italian Adria raved about. Since we came this year not around, the everything even to experience. Caorle as resort was quite easy to find and the villaggio sant ' Andrea because of the beautiful photos and good reviews also fast good. Since the prior (10 hours) very long, we are in the night and were so already half eleven in the villaggio. Purely optically already in the drive, we were thrilled! Everything looked very nice and well maintained. To our surprise we could already check in (normally from 16 hours), however ... was our apartment was not quite ready, so we use the time and in this intolerable heat (35 °c in the shade) at the pool (absolutely swimsuits separately pack, so that one not for a long time in the suit-case root must!). After only 30 minutes was also the apartment ready. This was in the 3. floor (in the area there were ground floor apartments and flats in the first, 2. or a few in 3. floor) with elevator access. The dwelling exceeded our expectations. Large, bright and friendly, very modern equipment and with a magnificent view of the area, the pool and the best: on the Adria! read hotel review

The service was very good. We were friendly and with good german welcome and our unit was already in the morning ready. After a storm and the power outage was the air conditioning not more, but this was taken care of within half an hour. Questions to trips/sightseeing were friendly and competent answered. Infomaterialien were available at the reception. Also magazines and books you could borrow (we didn't use).

The villaggio is a few kilometer outside of Caorle in Lido Altanea est. Altanea est consists of several of these village facilities, a well-stocked and not overpriced supermarket, a restaurant, pizza service, bakery, ice cream and children game 'salon'. The supermarket is within walking distance (about 10 minutes with kids), the supermarket is in 5 minutes with the car on the direct way to the beach. The villaggio is about 800m away from the beach, but there is a nicely arranged foot path (crushed stone/gravel walk) there (please note: mosquitoes in the bushes and trees). With strandzeugs for 2 erw. And 2 children, the heat and the mosquitoes but we only once, afterwards still threats (5 minutes by car). Parking (free) directly at the entrance to the beach.

Our apartment was very nice, very spacious and well equipped. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked can be (no coffee maker, no kettle, too little cutlery and glasses). A tip here: best a sharp knife and a potato peelers to bring their own. Salt and pepper, geschirrspültabs, sink, mülleimerbeutel and toilet paper not forget! Also important (at least for us ): Maggi or Knorr fix bags carry forward. This was when the italians not. And the bolognese from the supermarket in the glass was a bit hard to get used to! An oven (the pizzas are in the pizza service, super tasty and not too expensive), there was not, but a microwave and a separate spacious freezer. The apartment was very modern, the bath was beautifully large and with a washing machine (free use), which we gladly and often used it. We had an apartment (60 square meter) with 2 bedrooms. In the bedroom there was a safe. Closets were sufficient, hangers not! Sheets one should bring their own, towels were also. Our balcony was huge with a magnificent view of the area, the pool and the sea. A 2., small balcony from the bedroom accessible. The windows were with flyscreens (for high and move down), the patio doors but not. And the shutters (on all windows and doors installed) made the room very dark, so our shutters-spoiled children also here without problems fall asleep could. The floors were tiled, a air conditioning system gave it in each room (individually adjustable). The mosquitoes were very annoying, therefore Autan or similar think!

  • Sport & Leisure

The pool was sufficiently largely and very beautifully put on. Also the kids pool was enough, a slide would be desirable, if my children, but that has no villaggio or hotel in the area. There were enough beach chairs and umbrellas directly at the pool and was cleaned every evening. The dreaded siesta (usually 13:30-15 hours), the everywhere else is strictly complied with, was not very tight taken, so that our children also during the midday splash could. The playground and the equipment is new and very nice. But only for children until about 10 years. For the larger would probably get bored.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

Gastronomy in the hotel itself. At the pool there were beverage dispenser with coffee and cold drinks at moderate prices, as well as ice cream machine with four different sorts of ice cream. An italian was in 5 minutes walk away, as well as a pizza service (prices ok, selection was very good, food was very good), an ice-cream café and a bakery with mini-supermarket. The bakery was well stocked, the service staff was very friendly and the prices absolutely in order. Even pretzels, elephant ears and reasonably dark bread rolls were on offer to find!

The village is ideal, if you like we had a small child has. The pool was really clean and well maintained, the playground large. The only drawback to this hotel is, that there is no restaurant or cafe there. read hotel review
