Older aging hotel with very loud evening program from 11:00 p. m. live music in front of the hotel at the bar and on the terrace.

All in all good hotel!
Offer in the restaurant nothing special( too expensive for the quality), waiter very friendly but overworked (not capable of managing a sample of hausweins to bring)!

Actually we regret, that the oasis we always only for an overnight stay is, especially the rich breakfast laughs us always on, because of the trip with the ferry nothing can eat.
But we always happy in the restaurant a well-kept dinner.
Mindelo is a very nice city, but for women traveling alone, it is not dangerous, because the people are unlike the people in the country, in the mountains and on the other islands. … read more

The hotel makes a noble impression through the thick ruby red carpets and dark wood furniture with tasteful subtle african decoration, some drawback is the lack of elevator. The rooms are a bit small and also the balcony is tiny (a chair would perhaps find a seat). Otherwise it could particularly at the weekend very noisy by celebrations and events and the well-stocked gym can also from 6 o'clock are trained. For me was the breakfast very good.
