The staff are always nice, polite and spoke perfect English. They printed tickets for me at the front desk and other questions were always friendly answered. The lobby seemed pretty basic and a bit worn, but for large cities that is quite normal.We can only judge the breakfast. This was unfortunately not so special. If you don't need it you can also go out for breakfast in the area.The rooms are very small and worn. Everything seemed somewhat older already. Location
This charming hotel lies at the heart of Madrid, only a stone's throw from the Gran Via. It is close to theatres, cinemas, restaurants, bars and numerous shopping venues. Many public transport links can also be found in the surrounding area.
Facilities
Built in 1951 and renovated in 2003, the hotel has 154 rooms over 10 floors, of which 20 are singles and 134 are doubles. Guests are offered a 24-hour reception with a safe, a currency exchange desk, a lift a bar and a café. Additional facilities include a TV room, a conference room as well as an Internet terminal. Room and laundry services are also available. In the hotel's own car park and garage, guests can park their cars safely.
