The Tacola Resort^{(4 stars)}

We were already once three years ago and there are: the very well-kept resort first after the tsunami disaster opened, is already quite run down. Maintenance and repair is to obvious strong saved. New owner is now allegedly a investment with obviously chinese background. It was missing but not only in color. The local management seems totally indifferent. The service-staff was friendly and tried hard, but often the result insufficient. Even in peak season 25 percent occupied only. Mostly Scandinavian. very nice resort, always friendly and helpful staff, excellent cuisine. The new management the suggestions of the guests immediately. Walking distance from the beach to the pool there was no cleaning, after a conversation the next morning ready. … read more

We can't recommend this resort! The check-in and check-out was okay! The first impression in the twin pavilion was ok, but if you took a closer watch you can see many flaws! First of all, many stains on the bed sheets, then many us the many dead mosquitoes on the wall (lack of cleanliness) and the musty odor from the plumbing problems in the bathroom. The hotel is not recommendable. The location was very beautiful and suitable for a relaxing holiday but it seems very run down and not well maintained. The staff is very unmotivated and English skills are very low...
