Vacation in a city hotel-good

I have long time to decide, whether I review to give. The reviews are consistently excellent. A 'but' there are in our opinion however in any case: The variety of food was moderate. Of course you could choose, but often the selection was or the quality of the dishes moderate. The rolls for breakfast and the lunch actually always tired. Evenings there was always fresh rolls. Acceptable only as a bargain!

With DENIA is one of the better places between Valencia and Alicante, with the 'port DENIA' A 'box', despite renovated room charm the late seventies, and in all parts three starsLevel offers. We will stay there again, for the most part. Also, because it the only affordable hotel in Dénia is! Much old guests (pensioners) in the winter. We were 3 weeks in this hotel and had a big room with two massive beds. The food was great, varied and also typical of the country. The hotel's location is also good for excursions, a smaller beach is just outside, the large beach is a few minutes walk away. At the front desk very good English spoken, apart from that tries hardly anyone, except for the German Waitress Carina! Food was always really good, fresh, varied, except the breakfast, the you could really forget! Our room was quite large, however without a balcony! Location
This hotel is only 50 m from Marineta beach in Denia. Denia harbour is around 500 m away, while the town centre and the railway station is about 1 km away. There is a bus stop by the hotel (about 50 m away), and shops, bars and restaurants are around 100 m away. Alicante and Valencia airports are 110 km away.
Facilities
The hotel was built in 1974 and fully renovated in 2005. It comprises a total of 280 double rooms spread over 7 floors, of which 154 have a terrace. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange counter, a lift, a reading room, conference facilities and a TV lounge. In addition, the hotel offers a bar, a cafe, an air-conditioned restaurant, a games room and 2 computers with public Internet access (charges apply). Those arriving at the hotel by car may take advantage of the hotel's parking spaces (charges apply).
Rooms
The pleasant rooms include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV and air conditioning. For an additional fee, guests can make use of a safe, a minibar and Internet access. Around half the rooms have a terrace.
Sports/Entertainment
There are 3 pools in the outdoor complex; a round pool for adults, a children's paddling pool and a heated pool. There is also a spa area, where guests can relax with a Jacuzzi, hydromassage and a sauna (additional charges apply). Sports enthusiasts can use the gym or try their hand at bowling, table tennis or billiard. There is also a varying entertainment programme. There are a number of golf courses in the vicinity, the nearest one lies about 5 km away.
