Simple hotel right after the highway to nizwa. The location is very good for excursions after nizwa or on the jebel akhdar. No pool or other luxury but simple and clean. Breakfast ample, but no wide choice. … read more

Approximately 5 kilometer from old town nizwa away - with a car not a problem; advantage in the evening: near the hotel falaj daris -which is certainly good, but 3 times from majan guesthouse costs. The falaj daris offers wonderful dinner by the pool - with very nice atmosphere ( although something monotonous food in the selection after 3 days); but almost only alternative as long as one not in 19 kilometer away tulip restaurant go. The air conditioning is very loud. Without airconditioning heats up the room but at night very quickly. When outside temperature of about 30 °C is the annoying.

This hotel is in every Omanreise our first port of call and ideal around for example Nizwa to explore. The attached small restaurant is bright and friendly, the staff there extremely accommodating. For friends of fast food is since the end of 2009 next to a fast food restaurant (' hungry Bunny').
all in all is the hotel unlimited recommended, even if nothing spectacular there offered is.

The price/performance ratio was more than fair. For one night, with few requirements perfectly adequate. The staff was super nice and very friendly and helpful.
