The hotel is located very close to the big shopping street in Nice (2 minutes walk). To the sea you need about 15 - 20 minutes walk, but it also has a tram stop right at the main shopping street. In the immediate vicinity there were many bars, cafes and restaurants. The rooms to the street side are noisy ( traffic, night dips float trip). The hotel staff was very friendly and speak English. The English-speaking staff were extremely friendly and nice! Breakfast was typically Mediterranean, simple. But good! Baguette and croissant, honey, 2 sorts of jam, orange juice, cornflakes and, of course, coffee or tea. I had a small, single room, that looked onto the road, with everything you need: Single bed, closet, table, bath with shower and toilet, TV (international channels: RTL and Das Vierte). A telephone. Location
This hotel is just 100 metres from the Nice Etoile shopping centre and from the main street called Avenue Jean Medecin where guests will find a number of restaurants and bars with reasonable prices. It is a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and only 15 minutes from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais. Both the bus station and Nice Ville train station are 750 metres from the hotel, and L'Etoile nightclub is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is on a pretty street with small houses, and it is very quiet since the main street was made a pedestrian zone because of the tramway, which is a 5-minute walk away. Monaco is around 30 minutes by car.
