Sofitel St. James is the ideal hotel for exploring London. The hotel is not without a reason among the highest rated in London. We felt comfortable all around, the staff was very friendly but not intrusive. We had a standard room, which is a bit small, but very, very clean. Every day the bed linen were changed, towels on demand. Cleaning 2 times per day.
The breakfast we found too expensive. Around the corner of the hotel is a Pret-a-Manager branch and there we always had breakfast. The subway Piccadily is about 3 minutes away on foot, to the Queen … read more

I liked the Sofitel St James. The room I stayed on was simple, elegant and felt really English. The bed was great and provided a good night sleep, while the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The Sofitel St. James is centrally located but quiet between Piccadilly Circus and St. James Park on the corner to Pall Mall. To the Trafalgar Square it is only 2 minutes, Soho and Covent Garden are also easy to reach on foot.
