This hotel is fully recommendable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and for our wishes always an ear to lend. The location of the hotel is very cheap, directly at the pedestrian precinct and in the direct vicinity of the main square with the historic Rathaus. The rooms were although not large, what in an old half-timber house but is to be expected, but they were equipped with everything, which one wishes itself and furthermore with kind details mistake, a showed, that you are welcome. For an excursion in the Harz mountains, this is the ideal starting point! Brilliant welcome service with park-instruction from the boss personally. Friendliness and service outstanding! Rooms spotlessly clean and big enough. Fresh flowers and fruit in the room. Breakfast in the house possible, good & cheap! The location is just sharpened... On foot 2 minutes to the small railroad the castle and 5 minutes to the Narrow-Gauge steam train, as well as any quantity pub and shops all around. We will be back! … read more

An all-around good hotel. We had a junior suite in the neighboring building, and were very happy with the handle full-loving decoration of the room. In the half-timbered integrated and so comfortable. The bathroom is quite small, but fully sufficient. Every day a fresh fruit basket and as we had booked without breakfast, the location was great in the pedestrian zone. So we were able to walk into adjoining cafe's breakfast. The Rathaus-Hotel-Werningerode Garni with its comfortable and elegantly furnished rooms is glad to welcome you. As from May 2008 guests can dispose of our new functions rooms, suitable for conferences, seminars, festivities and other events. These function rooms are centrally situated in the pedestrian precinct, yet surrounded by greenery in between our 2 hotel buildings. They can be easily reached on foot and by car. Moreover, we offer you a roof terrace. Our rooms provide cable TV, radio alarm clock, desk, partly an extra seating corner, phone and a lot of amenities more. The bathrooms are equipped with shower, toilet, cosmetic mirror, hair-dryer and other comforts. Fax and internet access are available as well. For the more discerning guests there are a number of suites available. They have a size of about 40 m² and provide a separate living and bedroom. The luxurious furnishing creates a pleasant atmosphere. In the bathrooms you will find lit cosmetic mirrors, hair-dryer, bathrobes and a lot of amenities more. In addition each suite includes satellite TV, WLAN, mini-bar and a mobile phone as well as other pleasant details. For a little surcharge our guests may use the wellness area of the Hotel Gothisches Haus which is about 50 m away. Nearby you will find our enclosed and locked parking facilities. In the popular Schlemmercafé on the ground floor we serve you an excellent breakfast buffet each morning. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 08:00 to 18:00
