The 'del sol' is a simple, but good and clean hotel. Good location (25 minutes to fisherman wharf ), bus station around the corner. Various small restaurant / bars 5 minutes away on foot. What rare in sf-the parking space is free of charge ( either direct 'in the hotel' or on a small open space opposite). Also free the breakfast snack. Simple, but for a good start to the day enough. Since we always around 07:00 already thereby were we had no no problems with a free table. We have also very cool temp. Always outside eaten. … read more

In comparison to other california cities are the hotels in San Francisco rather expensive. By coincidence I am on the internet on the del Sol on trip advisor and it also booked, since the hotel reviews were positive. In the hotel arrived, I was pleasantly surprised from the beautiful rooms, the much bigger, as I imagined. They are nicely furnished and the colored walls make for a comfortable atmosphere. The hotel proprietors and front desk attendants were all very, very, very friendly!!!! The breakfast was included in the price! There is always a selection of sweets, toast, butter, jam, tea, cocoa, coffee, orange juice! However there were only 4 tables outside, so you had to the breakfast in the room or standing food, if you don't get up early to get a table ... But the food was good!
