Disappointed with my stay

Booked this hotel with corporate rate which was high regardless. The room was small and its condition was poor with some stains on the floor. The elevators were slow and insufficient. Alley and corridors to the rooms where in bad shape. Internet coverage was great, but speeds where generally slow and fluctuating from few hundred Kilo Bits to roughly a Meg. The restaurant food and service was really good though, and reasonably priced. During my stay there was lots of construction in and out of the hotel, it was not noisy though, but it made traffic outside a bit inconvenient. ... One thing I liked the most about this hotel was its location. You are close to many shops, cafes, restaurants, public transportation i. e, (Dundas station), and a major shopping mall (Toronto Eaton Center). If I ever go back to Toronto, I don't think I will stay here again, I would rather shop for another one. read hotel review

The hotel is one of the largest complexes in canada. Unfortunately the hotel is somewhat past its best and it would have to be urgently reconditioned. The condition of the rooms is acceptable, the central location right in the Downtown is the only plus. The included breakfast was ok. The guests come from many different places, from youth groups to congestion everything was represented. The audience is absolutely international. read hotel review

The size of the double room was so far ok. The rooms are very dark and have a tiny balcony, the have already gotten very old and therefore unsound looks. The carpet needs to be replaced. The bathroom is very small and would require a renovation.

The staff at the reception and in the restaurant was helpful and very friendly

The offered Continental Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes walk from the city centre. To the harbor you need within walking distance, about 20 minutes. In the surrounding area you will find some good restaurants and pubs. A supermarket is also opposite

The hotel is old, but decent. No luxury. It is a very large building with multiple entrances. Many young people have used this very centrally located hotel. It can also be noisy. Each room has a balcony with a great view. The rooms are well equipped, with a few scratches on the furniture. Coffee maker is available for free use available. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and a self-service restaurant, and a bar. But in the immediate vicinity there are numerous restaurants. read hotel review

Huge hotel with a few weaknesses

Alone a good hotel, which very centrally located is. The hotel is huge, there's a restaurant, a pub and a bistro. Around the hotel there are numerous shops, a mall and many restaurants and bars. In the executive floors the rooms are renovated and quite nice. On the other floors but the rooms are optically seen before many years warp. The hotel has a a gym and a swimming pool. Since it was no spatial separation is, is the use of the fitness equipment, the damp of the pool clearly noticeable. In principle were the rooms always very clean, only ... a few when it very unpleasant exceptions (used condom in the bathroom). The staff is very friendly and obliging. Wi-fi in the lobby free of charge. The balconies make the impression, as they would hardly a burden withstand. The aircon in the room worked only unsatisfactorily. read hotel review
