The Iroquois is ideal for a short stay in New York, if you want to visit the Broadway; also Central Park and shopping possibilities (5th Avenue and Herald Square) can be reached easily on foot. The noise level is as with almost all hotel Times Square quite high. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Whether we info about the city or needed a taxi, we were immediately helped me. Our request for a smoking room was not a problem. Also a German speaking receptionist was at different times. The room was always clean. had a morning newspaper on the door, beds turned down a map with the weather forecast for the next day and chocolates on our pillows.
