The hotel Punta Cana Princess is a somewhat smaller hotel with familial character, manageable in size in comparison to the most other hotels in Punta Cana (bavaro). The condition and the cleanliness can be described as well. The food is-as for Dominican Republic customary only as all-inclusive to book. Check-in without any problem. Rooms in the whole ok. Repairs were done quickly with moderate success. Our room was big enough, a lot of waste of space by the tub, the due to high humidity ( modergefahr ) didn't use it anyway. The facilities also enough. The drain of the shower functioned not correctly until the last (despite tried to fix it), it was the water to the sink sometimes, penetrated through the sealed door through the shower. Beds were on roles, the freeze is not left. Room cleaning worked well. The food was average, but unrefined as in a ... hotel of high standards. There was, however, always enough places in the main restaurant, which was therefore superfluous anweiserin. Close it was already in the speciality restaurants, only appear very early there promised a place. The waitresses and waiters were always endeavored around friendliness, but (real or fake?) warmth beyond the nordic norm in überschwenglicher' amigo manners' apparently only (pay?) granted regular guests. Apparently meet here whole groups of different nationalities to gemeinschaftsurlaub, which was a climate for those seeking peace individualists (also when eating) was not always beneficial. Shade for the sunbeds poor. From 6:30 a. m. there were practically no sunshade more on the beach. Occupied places, where no one was for a moment, randomly and arbitrary were cleared. Larger groups certain partly this' besetzerszene'. Private towels and goods were 'with unknown destination'. Beach chairs partly in poor condition. The garden was perfectly well-kept. Toilets often no paper towels, only hot air, at all: the condition of the sanitary installations was simply not 4 star hotel. At a weekend was the beach restaurant building renovated ( dacherneuerung ) including toilets etc. Didn't bother the fully booked hotel for a day of, because nobody could sit in the shady interior in the beach restaurant mare nostrum. Painting in the toilets with high pollutant (odor) - accompanied by harassment. We believe that such work should not necessarily be made in the high season. Very poor: the evening entertainment. Professional shows were absolutely wrong. Dilettantish events often only half-hearted, using the guests. The entertainers were not to blame, the during the day at a good job out, but obviously the rigour of the hotel management. This was according to bulletin apparently after leaving better. Also bad: no shuttle offered to the village (3 kilometer), only expensive taxis to order. The fitness studio was in a poor condition (equipment partly broken, partly strongly affected, just outdated). Towel and drinking water was not always on time. Otherwise the area was small (for all combined hotel much too small), but clean. In the area of the bars worked the demand by the staff only bad and coincidentally (or ' tips' by high?). Dearest gave in plastic cups from you, even though there were obviously, that you are in the area was furnished seat. At all: lovingly prepared cocktails, as otherwise usual in this hotel category in central america, belonged here not to the repertoire. As helped also tip further. You could already be glad, that on request in a plastic cup served was glass (usually not style-fair) instead. In summary one could say, this hotel has potential: the adults-only concept the atmosphere and fit to a relaxing vacation. The private landscaped gardens is inviting. Nevertheless: here must urgently in the above points are after-put. The condition at the time of our stay there was not 5 dominican republic star, also no 4.5 stars from the german description. read hotel review

The last time we had been in Dominican 8 years ago and stood at Majestic Colonial. it was good (except the weather). This time we decided to go to Bavaro Princess. When we walked toward our assigned building (building 20), we had heard an incredible noise. Yes, the hotel lobby with entertainment center was very far from that building, and the beach was fairly close, but right next was the pumping station of the neighborhood hotel with 24-hours noise. That noise did not really bother us inside the room, but made the outside terrace (with nice chairs and table) unlivable. ... In my opinion, the 3 buildings closest to the pump station (##20, 21 and 22) are a real health hazard, and shall not be occupied (at least by US noise standards). Other than that: 1. Beach is very good. All the sun, sand you like. 2. Food: average. Not fancy, but fresh and varies. Did not go to specialty restaurants. 3. Entertainment: horrible. The noisiest possible. Can't compare with Riviera Maya typical entertainment. The only good show was the Lion King. 4. Room: dirty by my wife's standard but probably clean by Dominican standards. Maids did a good job for cleaning at the general time we requested. Room layout has a stupid steps that may be hazardous at night. read hotel review

With about 270 rooms a small and neatly arranged all inclusive area for adults only with short paths. Very well-kept garden area. Rooms are newly renovated. Free wi-fi in the lobby, a laptop is also available. However, the data transfer rate is not very high. Most of the guests come from Canada and the USA; continue to come from Germany, Austria, Russia and south america. Age: from 18 years and older everything was represented. read hotel review

    All of the rooms have a balcony with view to the garden, partly to the pool and the sea. You have a well working air conditioning system and a ceiling fan. The rooms were in the past few months fully renovated. The bathroom was half open with a nice shower, with frosted glass separate toilet, sink and jacuzzi tub (was tried: hot water, but the pump the jacuzzis quite noisy). The beds are on a loft; over two steps on the living area with sofa, coffee table and a small table with two chairs and a kühlschrank = minibar (with water, Cola, sprite and beer; replenished daily). There is also a coffee machine available. There is a flat screen tv; only german program is however Deutsche Welle.

    The entertainment team provides, among other things Volleyball, archery, Bocce, hufeisemwerfen, small tanzlektionen and pool games at. If you don't want to take part, will leave you alone. In the evening there is in the lobby small shows - or you could visit the events in the neighboring hotel; the short transfer with hotel-own minitransportern. At the beach and at the pool there were sufficient pool chairs available; however, some updating. When we were there, the hotel was fully occupied and nevertheless gave it at 10 hours on the beach - also in the shade. Between beach and pool are 4 showers and 2 changing rooms. There is a beach bar and a pool bar.

    There was a main restaurant with buffets and showcookingstationen as well as 4 à la carte restaurants (italian. , tex-mex, fish and swiss fondue). North - or mittelamerikanisch oriented cuisine is good, one always finds something, which one likes. Salad and fruit you could have food - we had at least no stomach-darm problems.

    Staff very friendly and welcoming; gladly also times sung or a little dancing. In the restaurant many speak also english. In the animation team and at the reception there are also some of the staff german. With the room cleaning we were very content. Also, the restaurants, the lobby and the public toilets were all in good condition. The staff was always endeavors our wishes.

    Direct location on the beach. The airport is about 40 minutes' drive away. Along the beach there are many other hotels; including the sister hotel Tropical and caribe princess, their restaurants, bars and a disco free of charge with use. The beach is the actual highlight: far stretching, bright, fine sand, flat into the turquoise water dropping - one drives here! Bathing shoes are not necessary! A real town center does not give it, but are about 3 kilometer away various shops. There is also 5 minutes walk to the left along the beach souvenirgeschafte, as well as about 45 minutes' walk to the right. Night life is only in the hotel. Trips can book one during the travel line.

We are too fourth (two couples) and had a wonderful holiday in the Karibik! We were completely satisfied. The rooms were very large and for dominican standards clean. There was a variety of food in the buffet restaurant, as well as in the al-a-carte restaurants, everything was very delicious. For breakfast there were also always delicious fresh juices! You can here definitely the whole day around the clock good food-) also to mention is, that the cocktails very good taste-) As well as the staff and the entertainment team was very friendly. Therefore, that the hotel is not ... very big, you will soon recognize-) We felt very comfortable and would choose this hotel again. read hotel review

It was our 2. stay there. The princess is a well arranged hotel. The room size is more than adequate. The decor is very good. About the cleanliness we could not in any area complain. In the lobby you can use free wi-fi internet access. Either with private device (you got the password told) or two same laptops. The connection is however only average. However, it is from, a few emails. There were mainly middle-aged guests there. However, there are also some very young and also older guests. Well mixed.     The rooms were big enough (about 45 square meter). In our room there were two queen beds. There is also room with a king sized bed. The rooms have a television, refrigerator, coffee machine, balcony, air conditioning. In the fridge is water, Cola, Sprite and beer. These drinks were inclusive and were refilled every day. Moreover, there was a jacuzzi in the room. Room and bathroom were always clean. Some disturbed however, that rooms and bathrooms not are separated. This did not bother us. In the toilet you could finally close the door.

    The staff is throughout absolutely lovely, friendly, very helpful, hard and almost always competent. Only the service in the evening at the lobby bar was unfortunately to be desired. This was not at the bartkeepern, but the waiters. You got along with english very well. Some also spoke german. With the room cleaning we were always satisfied. We had no complaints to make. We had in this hotel any time, the impression, that you better treated, only, because one gave tips. The service was not affected. Nothing the despite was happy, of course, every employee on a small compliment.

    The hotel has several restaurants. There was the buffet. From there, you could breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every evening there was a different theme, which is of course a week repeated. But that is normal. The cleanliness in the buffet was excellent. Should be a 'accident' done, it was immediately by the staff one settled immediately. The food was very delicious and very well tolerable. Of course, everyone has a different taste. But here is something for everyone to find. Fish lovers might have been come here also on their costs. We took the steakhouse try. This unfortunately we can only advise against urgently. The steak was tough like leathers and not really tasty. The restaurant we couldn't recommend it. Then there still another further restaurant (mare nostrum) on the beach. There, you could eat around the clock. We are actually at noon always went out to eat. The restaurant was very good. At night there is probably fish, but we never tried it. There is also an italian restaurant and a swiss restaurant (fondue), which we but both didn't use it. In the neighboring hotels, the you share may, there were still further restaurants, which we however not to have tried out. Handed us really the marvelous buffet. About the dishes and drinks we can only say, that both have a very good quality had. Except the steakhouse! The hygiene was in all of us used restaurants very good. There were many different dishes. As i said: in the evening there was at the buffet daily changing theme evenings (dominican, mexican, italian...). The atmosphere was good. Sometimes came in the buffet-style restaurant in the evening three people, the at the tables songs played. This however only on request. A ' no thanks' has been accepted. Also here it can be said, that the service regardless of tip stay was very good.

    The Punta Cana Princess has a very dear, talentiertes and very dedicated entertainment team. It will be on the beach and at the pool during the day various offers (water aerobics, archery, stretching, darts, Volleyball, water polo...) There is also in the evening by the entertainment team that shows. These are done very professionally. We have rarely had such good shows by the entertainment team seen. Also in the neighboring hotels there were evening shows, which one regard. These are really very recommended. Every evening there was a shuttle bus to a disco in the vicinity, but we didn't use and therefore cannot comment. The beach was always very clean and inviting to beautiful walks. The condition of the couches was not in order. And actually were always enough umbrellas and beach chairs available.
