Around 3-4 nights in lively patong beach to spend is the banthai an excellent choice. What we especially liked: excellent location only a couple of steps over the street to the beach, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bangla road (one must at least see). From the beach i was not expecting much and was then positively surprised. Near a short stay is he, flat, really good for swimming. It was unfortunately very loud, by band from the restaurant, the bar in the hotel and constant bangings od drunk guests the riot and not about it worries. The room and the bed linen were not very clean and even after a change were almost always stains in the bed sheets. In the hotel pool would only chlorine tilting and was already green inside. Friendliness and service - like in Thailand -incredibly pleasant. Also the english knowledge on very good level.
At the check-in was unfortunately our room nor not prepared, so we bit longer had to wait. The staff offered us as an alternative a free upgrade to a higher room type in, the we without waiting period could have been able to refer.
We declined, since this option on the following day in the original room would have to move. The offer we found but in principle alright and the art of improvisation from the hotel very good.
