The hotel lies in the heart Grainau. From our room we had a great view of the mountains. Our room was practically furnished. Double bed, big closet for the clothing and tv. Otherwise we had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The furnishing is however getting a bit old, what you already recognizes if you the hotel enters. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are cleaned daily.For breakfast is in buffet form serves. Next to fresh sausage and cheese there are marmelade, honey, nutella and fruit. The choice is not huge, but sufficient. Only drawback in our opinion was, that it is only white rolls ( water roll) and bread, no whole wheat bread and/or pretzels.The rooms were small, but functional. If You normal expectations is, the nostalgic flair and peace loves, this is really.
you can here only breakfast get. Dining is however good on foot to reach.
in the apartments you can even, in of the kids kitchen was so far everything available.
sometimes it was in the rooms about us lively to, but it was kept within limits and after 22 hours was peace. It has also a child-friendly House.

We stayed for seven additional €room with a balcony with a direct view of the zugspitze.
The decor of the rooms was already a bit older, but the furniture was functional and there was plenty of storage space to put things.
Since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar, you had to spend the evenings in elsewhere.
You'll get a cold beer at the front desk, but only until 18 hours, because it is closed. It was however a little excessive. 2.90 €for a bottle of beer, they are prices.
