The hotel is located on a busy main road. The old main building was very old Windows, so you can hear the street were very loud. The Hotel Blumlisalp is a clean, friendly, family-run hotel, with excellent food in a wonderful location. I spent a lovely week here in August and will do so again. The chef is renowned in the area, and never disappoints. It is close to all local village amenities, including the open-air 25m swimming pool. and is in an ideal location for some spectacular walks and hikes. The owners were very kind and made our stay special.The food was consistently very good, with imaginative menus. Lunch was available on the sun terrace. A la carte could be ordered but the fixed menu was of such a high standard that we had this menu each evening. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable with high standards of housekeeping. Our room had a beautiful view.The standard of the hotel is exceptional. It is very family friendly. Excellent family run hotel. This is our fourth visit in three years, and hopefully there will be many more. We have already booked for next year. Cuisine and service excellent at all times of the day. Bedrooms were clean, fresh and serviced daily, with a high standard of presentation and attention to detail. All areas of the hotel are clean, bright and comfortable, with a games room and toddlers room in the basement. For over 15 years we have come to this hotel (summer and winter) and find the atmosphere and service always very welcoming. Very many of the hotel guests are people who come back year after year and that surely says a lot about this hotel. The food is excellent and all the facilities of the hotel make for a very relaxing and peaceful holiday.
