The hotel is for a short vacation recommendable. The breakfast was very extensive and tasteful. The staff at breakfast were and at the front desk was friendly. The bathroom was renovated and clean.
The room with a balcony was generous. Unpleasant merely many 'mückenleichen' on the wall and ceiling, which somewhat dated hotel's atmosphere not improved.
We have a short instruction this deficit in the hotel given, it has been said, we chic someone.
That is unfortunately not happened, we have even the ' dead insects' away. The curtains perhaps once again be washed... The value for money is ok.

We have a few wonderful days in Cuxhaven spend. The hotel Wehrburg is a 80. Years build with low ceilings, but from the inside very lovingly rustically-antique furnished, that you almost in a farmhouse feel. Everywhere you can find old Bauernschränke, antique dishes and many paintings, with the sea employ. Our room had a quite big balcony, with a view of a large garden and behind beginning forest. The plus of the hotel is the location. Peacefully located, surrounded old trees and close to the beach. The ahoi-bad is only some meters away.
Negative: the hotel is outdated. The rooms are in need of renovation and very dark decor. In my room were numerous damages on the walls. There were spiders in the room. A ride with the ageing lift was an adventure and nothing for persons with order. … read more

When booking one must clarify exactly, where the room is and how it is furnished. In the photo at holidaycheck the 'new building' imaged. The bathrooms are new, some balconies but are hard to use as they are built up. There is also the old building next door and the small fortress, by the garden a path is, the urgently refurbishment needs. The decor is at least 30 years old.
