Very quiet location right next to the old town of Gruyère with hotel's own parking. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great Breakfast Buffet. Rooms are rather narrow. Lighting is temporarily from. In July I on a business trips 1 night the hostellerie des Chevaliers spent. The price for the single room included breakfast fraud 120 CHF and was for the offered for Swiss Quite reasonably. The small hotel is quietly located in scenic beautiful area below the palace grounds of Gruyere. Because of the small number (34) it is rather informal to. The staff at reception are friendly; you could communicate in German. The room was located on the 2nd floor with sloping ceilings and large window. Very good, quiet location but easy, small rooms. Renovation urgently necessary. Sometimes no hot water in room. Very courteous staff, but no personal welcome and lack of foreign language skills for region. … read more

Service was friendly and we did not require extra services.The restaurant was closed when we stayed but the quality of breakfast was good. The restaurant is clean, light and the food traditional.The rooms are in need of some attention. We had a very small room with a broken mattress. I know there are larger rooms which will be more comfortable. The rooms with a view are substantially more expensive. The rooms have TV and shower/bath.
