The service is lousy: the staff langweit the livelong day, The employees are quite taciturn and regards only back if you are a first greets, with exception the cleaning lady. Drinks only self-service even for the food. Knowledge of German are also almost not available, but I can live with when I abroad vacation do.There is a lobby bar in the waiters with pool games and television time pass, because no guest the' great' all inclusive use: because of drinks there except for alcohol free from vending machines ( self-service!) cheap beer and a sort of terrible red or white wine. … read more

Staff is rude and initially told us the room cleaned every day, but no way, on the third day complained, then the room was finally cleaned. All 3 days should you get fresh towels. But we only got what a day before we left. Toilet paper we collected from the front desk-toilet paper supplies as we never got. the bathroom is just stupid built. The floor is completely flat and there is no shower stall and the drainage is under the sink, means that the whole bathroom was underwater when taking a shower. The service was good and the staff actually always very friendly and helpful both the cleaning ladies and the rest. Nobody could speak German although if you can communicate in English is somewhat more than good clear with the staff PHEW - yes the food ... I only saw two breakfast once at the hotel advertises special but no way you became sated and it was ok for me ( apart from the juice from the two choices of to choose from both sugar tasted and probably never seen a real fruit). And a very good, inexpensive hotel to stay for our uncomplicated beach holiday. Promenade and beach. We had an ocean view room without extra cost: top! Otherwise cleanliness of the room rather good, the bathroom was very small and as good as no possibilities to store. The clothes closet in the double room would be half the size rather suitable for a single room. The cleanliness in the elevator and the hallway leaves lots to be desired, but it didn't bother us embarrassing sort (three star hotel!) So first of all I would like to give you the tip and you from this hotel absolutely! I give you the following reasons: The hotel is a nine-story apartment block! Hotel Astoria Palace-in which we were, that this is not the sister hotel as it so often to read! So I only on the Hotel Astoria palace. Location
The hotel is situated in the central part of Golden Sands, on the promenade just 20 m from the beach. The great location and the friendly environment make the hotel a perfect place for an unforgettable holiday. Links to the public transport network are some 300 m away and the bus and train stations are around 18 km from the hotel. Varna Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 40 km and Burgas Airport roughly 120 km.
Facilities
The hotel has been a symbol of the Golden Sands resort throughout the years, and was completely renovated in 2010. It provides a good range of facilities and a high standard of accommodation, preserving its style and architecture. The 10-storey hotel has a central air conditioning system and offers 60 twin rooms and 20 apartments with a spectacular view over the resort, the natural reserve of Golden Sands, and the Black Sea. The hotel disposes with a main restaurant, lobby bar, nightclub and the only variety theatre in the resort. Further facilities provided by the hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a café, a pub, conference facilities, Internet access, a laundry services and a car park.
