The outward ageing former Posthotel lamb could also inside a light needs. Welcoming was very friendly but cool, and you had the whole days over the feeling, not really to the guest tried hard, however rather the booked achievements than 'checklist' the guest abarbeitete. Our room was clean, however in the bathroom major defects on the tiles and grout, and an uncomfortable walk-in bathtub with a plastikduschwand did this framework, what for this hotel and …  read hotel review

We got a room in the old building. Not recommended. Musty smell, age-old carpet (not up-to-date anymore), ceiling peeling plaster... No complimentary guest parking (per night 13.00 €). Breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff friendly. …  read hotel review

A cosy hotel in the center of Kastelruth, what we would not hesitate to recommend. Especially to be highlighted is the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff. The hotel was here and there in need of renovation, but the charm and wohlfühlcharakter no harm. The service was excellent. We arrived on the first evening only late in the hotel - there was no warm kitchen more, but we were greeted by a large and delicious jausenplatte received, the kitchen for us prepared. All in all, a very successful and beautiful holiday - we'll be back for sure. read hotel review

We were the 2. the lamb, this time under Falkensteiner management. We had a room in the old building-here must Falkensteiner much more work to do. The room was really small, as well as the bathroom. Cleanliness was excellent. Also the design of the room still leaves a lot to be desired. Tv was outdated, safe as well. Wi-fi is only in the reception area. Dining: breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Every day the same sausage, hardly cheese and two sorts yogurt. We were in the 4 star hotel already seen better ones. Dinner has even 4 superior rating. ... You could with the breakfast between three main dishes: fish, meat, vegetarian. For the eye very nicely arranged. The drink prices were reasonable. Service was ok, the breakfast sometimes overburdened. The spa area is unfortunately very small. On rainy days, well-attended, but sauna is with 4 people crowded and lounge chairs are also only 4 available. You get a beach bag with a towel and slippers provided. But a towel for 2-3 sauna is simply too little. Here, in the sauna still further, also smaller, towels available. Trip possibilities are various Seiser Alm hiking Bruneck (also good by bus possible) and Bolzano of course. Free parking is available at the place virtually no, so you are obliged to the hotel (1 3 €per day) or the public parking garage (1 0 €per day) to evade. read hotel review

A great place to be, always. The location is unbeatable - meters away from the central square and minutes from the hiking paradise. Ours was a wonderful suit, distinctly modern, but carefully blended in the historic atmosphere of the hotel. Amazing bathroom, dark tiles and wood, a large tub plus a proper walk-in shower. There is a nice spa area in the basement - a good pool, sauna and steam bath, never crowded, always pristine clean. Food was excellent - especially five-course dinner with veggie, meat and fish choices every day. But it's the staff that really made a difference ... for me. Nothing was ever too much trouble, everyone was polite, kind, helpful and (at least) bilingual. A real home away from home. This hotel is so easy to recommend. read hotel review
