We had a very pleasant stay of 10 nights at the Pallagino, enjoyed a lot the company of Sandy, Rajen, Kingsley and Athena for their warm welcome and interesting discussions, and of course the lovely home made cocktails and gastronomics dinners ! The environment is fine and the house is only 3 minutes walk from the large and heavenly beach of Flic en Flac (on the other side on the main road). The accomodations are fine with Wifi, AC and TV in the upstairs living room, although the bathrooms would need renovation and swimming pool cleaned which I mentionned to … read more

It started with a perfect pick-up service at the airport –after a long flight. Then the lovely welcome, the nice and clean room and the absolutely great dinners. Our daughter loved the pool most, we preferred the nice beach.
We have been a little bit sad to leave after three nights – we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at the Pallagino Guesthouse for 2 weeks on a full board basis. Drinks were provided 24/7 and breakfast as well as lunch and dinner tasted as if it had just come out of a 5 star hotel. During our stay Sandy spoiled us with a variety of different cultural dishes. (Rajen with drinks and different Coktails :-))
As we celebrated Christmas and New Years Eve with the Mauritan family, the house was decorated with love. Sandy and Rajen made the season - and our little daughter's (13) birthday - an unforgettable experience.

excellent gastronomy: Sandy is a wonderful chefvery nice: 20 mq bathroom in the room, terrace view swimming pool, air conditioningWe returned home just ... We have left the heart. It 's the first time we tried something similar: to live and enjoy the holidays away from the stereotypes offered by resorts. My wife and I stayed in Pallagino for two weeks in early July. Researching Mauritius before booking suggested that we try B & B which we did. Absolutely no regrets. We were made most welcome by our hosts Rajen and Sandy. The food and refreshments were excellent, much to the detriment of my waist.
The weather was beautiful with only two days of overcast. As it was off-peak many of the local restaurants were partially closed but we expected this. Eating outside tended to be a little expensive but the quality and variety were good.
