Unfriendly, incompetent, rooms are renovated but old! Complaints are very arrogant dismissed. An existing reservation is suddenly not more in the system!Scanning is good. The hotel is a bit outdated. Check in was quite quickly and you our wishes cared. The room was clean and relatively large. You should try a room to the pool to get, since the view beautiful and the rooms quiet. The breakfast buffet has a good selection. Dinner was good, however definitely not to our taste seasoned. Unfortunately there were on saturday and Sunday no alcoholic beverages ( is supposedly law, but we have in other restaurants also at the weekend wine get). This historical hotel is located in the heart of the capital’s most exclusive residential and business district, just 20 minutes from Quito International Airport.
Facilities
The 215-room city hotel was built on a small hill in 1960 and has since won the city’s architectural award, becoming an icon in the Ecuadoran hotel industry. It offers stunning views of the metropolis and surrounding mountains, some featuring snow-capped peaks all year round. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, safe, cloakroom and lift access, and there is a hairdressing salon, auditorium and casino on site. Dining options include a café, bar, pub and restaurant, and younger guests will appreciate the hotel’s playground. Conference facilities are available and wireless Internet access is provided throughout public areas. Room and laundry services are also offered and there is a car park and garage parking for those arriving by vehicle.
Rooms
The rooms have been carefully decorated and offer guests the utmost in comfort.
