As I stated at the beginning of this review the staff at the hotel are marvelous. Not all speak perfect english but if we spoke spanish there would be no need would there? There`s laundry facilities at the hotel and it`s very efficient.Restaurants a plenty,tapas bars by the dozen,food on the beach all very goodNo more to add to my earlier commentsI`ve given this hotel the top rating of 6 suns because I truly believe that there is not a better 3 star hotel anywhere near Nerja. No mold (or at least consistent coated) also no musty smell and-neither in the room nor the bathroom. Otherwise but rather run down and not motivated. Cleaning only on the surface. At least: hot water comes fast! City bus stops in front of the hotel; if (bus) with public transport wants to go further, about 1 kilometer the must walk along the main road. Our room lay to the road back, were but quite far above (2. Top floor), and the new highway provides for discharge. The hotel, that a bit in the years come is, meets all times. the room are large, the bathroom is also okay in terms of size. Cleanliness is after German standard, however, could be improved. The pool is large enough to swim. To the beach it was about 1 kilometer, but to foot rather bad. No problem walked, since it steep downhill. Back but very hard to walk. Location
This hotel is located on the edge of the holiday resort of Nerja, close to Capistrano and 1 km from the famous Burriana beach and the centre of Nerja. There is a hypermarket, a tennis club and the town bus stop directly in front of the hotel.
Facilities
The beach hotel was built in 1984 and consists of a 4 storey main building and a 3 storey annexe block with a total of 108 rooms, of which 1 is a single and 107 are doubles. There is a 200 m² garden. The hotel's facilities include a refined lobby, a 24-hour reception with a safe, a currency exchange desk, lifts, a café as well as a bar. Furthermore, there is an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants as well as a TV room, a conference room, an Internet terminal, a games room, a launderette and medical assistance. Guests may park their cars in the car park.
Rooms
The en suite rooms are welcoming and come equipped with full bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, radio and a safe. All rooms come with a heating and air conditioned system. Furthermore, the majority feature a balcony or terrace.
Sports/Entertainment
There is a pool with a sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols. There is a hard tennis court opposite the hotel which is available for an additional charge. There is a golf course 20 km away. A night-time entertainment programme is organised for the benefit of guests.
Meals
Guests are offered breakfast and dinner in the form of a buffet. At lunchtime, the bar offers a selection of snacks from the menu.
