  This hotel enjoys a quiet yet central position in the town. The nearest restaurants and bars are right on the hotel's doorstep, the Schallmoser Hauptstrasse bus stop is 20 m away and it is 200 m to the shops of Linzer Gasse. It lies within easy reach on foot of all historic and interesting sights, including Mirabell Palace and its gardens (350 m), theatres, churches and museums, the House of Congress, the central train station (800 m) and of course not to be missed the famous Old Town with its historic buildings and monuments (500 m). Mozart's birthplace, the Hohensalzburg Fortress, Getreidegasse and the city's cathedral are all 800 m from the hotel. Hitler's 'Eagle's Nest' is 24 km and Berchtesgaden and the Wolfgangsee lake are 32 km away. Salzburg Airport is just 4 km away from the property.
