We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend in the city, my girlfriend was a weekend package in this hotel. In the evening of arrival of the first blunder: lots of hair on the bed, even some Schaamhaare! The night receptionist brought a new sheet, but stayed the disgusting impression. Almost the level of a 5 star hotel, has me very surprised. Definitely not you should outside of the hotel dinner, as it in the area only significantly worse restaurant returns! Unfortunately I also misjudged. Especially 'nice' the ' good night' wishes at the bed, the free bottle of water, the free welcome drink in the bar. Whether at Restaurant Herrngarten (international cuisine) or at Bistro Moller (rustic regional fares), you will feel comfortable everywhere plus having the opportunity to to enjoy culinary delights in a relaxed atmosphere. The large sun terrace is an idyll in the green and is adjacent to Park Herrngarten. A spacious soft wellness area (130 m²) comprising a sauna, a steam bath, Jacuzzi pool invites you to relax and linger on the upper floor. A magnificent panoramic view of Mathildenhöhe hill, the castle and the national archives at Karolinenplatz square are waiting for you. Being connected to darmstadtium science and congress centre, the hotel furthermore offers spacious meeting and congress facilities. Getting to Darmstadt: Arrival by Train: By train you will stopp at main train station Hauptbahnhof Darmstadt. You can take the bus (lines H, D, F) or the tram (line No. 5) to the Luisenplatz. From the Luisenplatz you can take a taxi or the tram until Schloss. In a 3 minutes distance walk you are in the hotel. Arrival at the Airport: You can take the Airport Shuttle to the main train station Darmstadt or the S-train. By train you will stopp at main train station Hauptbahnhof Darmstadt. You can take the bus (lines H, D, F) or the tram (line No. 5) to the Luisenplatz. From the Luisenplatz you can take a taxi or the tram until Schloss.
