This hotel is to be recommended, because of the very good location. It is very convenient equipped, but sufficient. We had before booking through the reviews, and that is why a room with a window as' specified. We got a room with a small balcony facing the street side, the great was. the rooms without a window (or window in the corridor) are a bit dark and stuffy, therefore after a with a window facing the outside world issues. The hotel lies in the middle and is a chic new design hotel behind historic facade. The room we found however first somewhat habituation-needily: there was no window! In Spain it is the however right nirmal now I know. The interior but with a photo wallpaper quite tricky redissolved, the room seemed so that bigger and in spite of the missing window right to be desired. The minimalist breakfast we didn't use. We were very comfortable, the staff were all very friendly. The hotel only Spanish/Catalan respectively English spoken. The room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels every day. There is a breakfast room, which is under the ground, hence no windows. Unfortunately, it was very, very cold during our stay in Barcelona, we stayed here just after the blizzard and heating did not work. Breakfast without a sweater or jacket was almost impossible. This brand new hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona’s gothic district. It is situated on Calle Avinyó, one of the city centre’s liveliest and most popular streets; full of restaurants, bars, and trendy shops. The hotel is within walking distance of most of Barcelona’s interesting sights and is undoubtedly the best base from which to start exploring Barcelona. Barcelona International Airport is 19 km from the hotel.
Facilities
This historic hotel is fully air-conditioned and comprises a total of 83 rooms. There is a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. The hotel features an on-site café, bar and restaurant, as well as wireless Internet access.

The modern, comfortable guest rooms are fitted with either 1 double or 2 single beds.
