The Hotel Arion is located in the district of psiri, very nearby the old town. To the Monastiraki square are a few minutes walk away and in the direct vicinity of the hotels we found nice taverns.
If you with public transportation travels, is the Arion surely the perfect Base ( a parking space I would like, in the surroundings of the hotel not to find...)

the check in and check-out went very fast, the staff at the reception were very friendly.in the hotel only breakfast offered. A truly rich buffet with rolls, 2 different Toastbrotarten , croissants, different types of sausage, cheese, Feta, olives, scrambled egg, Eggs, muesli and various cereals sorts, 2 different fruit juices, coffee, Tea, cocoa. I hope, I have not forgotten anything. For a hotel in this category a really rich buffet. A nice, quiet Breakfast room, everything was very well arranged.the room, we had was nice, clean and tidy. We stayed during our Greece-trip twice in the hotel Arion. The check-in at the front desk around the occupied o'clock worked both times easy and only took a few moments.
At first stay we had a great room with a view of the Acropolis. We asked for one of the friendly receptionist, during our second stay again ourselves this room and our request was promptly fulfilled.
We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast room. Owing to the official photos we thought, the breakfast served on the roof. Is however not the Sunday the breakfast room is located on the first floor … read more

The staff was friendly unobtrusive. nullThe rooms are a good size and are furnished in a modern style, with TV, air conditioning, minibar. We had a great view of the Acropolis. Everything was very clean. We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel Arion and got a room 5 . Floor. The roof terrace is located in the 7th Floor. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Friendly staff - although not overly friendly. But it was ok. It was like everywhere in Greece English spoken. Room cleaning and cleanliness were ok. It can only be rated the breakfast - other gastronomy (except for snacks). The breakfast is a Greek average - so rather poor. Brand new renovated room, in our case a view in the backyard. For us that was not a big problem though because we had no street noise. There are rooms with a view of the Acropolis. More importantly, we found the modern décor very new, modern and yet still cozy.
