Good hotel... Central location, cIRCA 10 minutes on foot to the main station room to the street nevertheless somewhat loud, luckily was one evenings so tired, that one nevertheless without problems sleep came.
Room cards were also drivers license for the VRR, so the public transport in Düsseldorf. Mini bar (per 2 small bottles orange juice, water and cola) were daily inclusive.
Small breakfast area, but all nice and lovingly arranged. Beginning of the week lots of foreign Businessmen to guest, at the weekend people, the for shopping and partying after Düsseldorf arrived.

NEGATIVE: the room was not clean, for example long hair in the bed and the toilet was not cleaned. Furthermore it was very smelly, it is a smoker's room -2 months previously a non-smoking room. The fair rate is absolutely exaggerated.

When clean room for the usual price reasonable, for the fair rate we can the hotel definitely not highly recommend. … read more

The hotel is very simple but very highly recommended. Price / is good value for money. Hotel has parking places for cars in the parking garage next door - we stayed for 4 nights, - about 10 Euros. At check-in we have tickets for public transport will receive - for free! About five minutes. Walk from the central station. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was ok. Had a rather drab overlooking the courtyard, however, it was absolutely quiet, although the hotel is in the center of the city. Staff was very friendly. … read more

The hotel Schumacher in Düsseldorf is already a little older but well maintained. OK for a short stay. Remarkable is the nice collection of pocket-watches, the displayed. Also the drinks from the mini bar are free. The wireless internet access should also be free. The view from my room to the Innhof is rather dull. The location is very good, in the proximity of the station, about 500 meter Ticket for public transport inclusive. If possible book room facing the courtyard, are quieter. The hotel is very narrow, but high, so I think it not accessible for disabled people. The house is like a gallery. Pictures and other items throughout the hotel. Breakfast was quite good. Everything you needed was available. We booked via hrs with a great price. All the a city break and you want a cheap hotel with a personal touch search, we can only recommend the Schumacher.
