Good hotel for Bari visit. Unfortunately 20 minutes ( on foot) of the historic part of town away. But you get to know the city. Room quite minimalist decor (hospital atmosphere). Hotel photos do not agree with the reality. Bathroom against nice. Very good breakfast ( for Italian standards top!) , on a very pretty terrace to be taken. … read more

The Mercure villa Carducci is altogether from the hotel, staff, atmosphere and also pool and environment in the narrow sense reasonable however. But the hotel guest should take a car flexible and to be mobile, since to foot nothing in the area is. The location is more than modest. The-and departure from the hotel parking very unpleasant; rather bad completely out. In the hotel there are a restaurant with very good kitchen. Variety was rather limited. The hotel is situated in a very nice old park. Unfortunately is the direct environment ( intimidating) not so nice; the center is within walking distance. The rooms ( we had a suite) are newly renovated, clean and spacious. The view of the park is beautiful. Very recommendable are as well the breakfast buffet and the restaurant. The selection and the quality of the dishes are excellent. The waiter evenings in the restaurant was great; he went to special requests without any problems and was very nice and attentive. The service is depending on the person and depended surprisingly different. I have both very nice, competent and helpful service forces experienced as well as musty and rather reluctant acting. English can only a few staff in reasonably sufficient.
