Older hotel at best location, right on the lake in Locarno, close to from the center ( walking distance). Unfortunately no hotel's own parking and the public parking spaces in front of the hotel are on 4 hours limited, which is not very helpful is, in case a trip without a car to make would like. Apart from that already getting old, a renovation would do well, but the location is very good, especially also the rooms with balconies against the lake. Breakfast is ok. … read more

A nice hotel in a very good location on the promenade. We had a room with a balcony and views of the Lago Maggiore, which certainly a bit more expensive was the extra charge is worthwhile anyway. Free car park behind the hotel, pier right next door. Into town on foot no 5 minutes. The breakfast was very good, vón the choice to the taste, there was nothing to complain about. Rude front desk, room very small and overloaded, bathroom dirty ( fäkalienspritzer and traces of urine on the toilet seat) and dusty, balcony dusty and full of cobwebs. No reaction to complaints.

We three our stay very much enjoyed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, however not too obtrusive. In the restaurant our extra wishes always utmost satisfaction fulfilled. At the front desk we were with the excursion plans helped. We have also the sauna and the gym center use it.
There were only a few hotel's own free parking spaces ( from the possibility in the neighboring hotel parking we didn't know and not informed), but at night you can directly in front of the hotel free parking and during the day we were mostly on the way.
