Hotel Dolores Alba Merida^{(4 stars)}

We were with the tour operator mextrotter in this hotel. Is very centrally located and has a very pleasant staff. We were altogether circa 3.5 weeks in different hotels by Mexico out but 'Dolores alba' had with the most friendly staff. Apart from that, the hotel is rather spartan but very clean. The hotel is situated in the middle of bustling merida the capital of the federal state yukatán. however, it is very quiet. It is almost an entire block occupied and in the courtyard is even a pool. The rooms are big and ok. Only the bathroom is in dire need of a major renovation. The offered breakfast is very poor. Every day scrambled eggs is slow on the spirit. Merida city centre is on foot quickly reached and there was always something going on. With the ( mieet -) from of the city anxious it takes quite long and a gps is recommendable. … read more

A small oasis in stadtgewühl, although the pool was cool, we enjoyed the cooling, lovely, also the beautiful inner court. Nicely as a place to stay during a tour. The parking space is behind a garage door, you have to in the hotel tell, thus it is opened. Alarm and on the street stand still. We knew so not, so we made a small trip to merida. … read more

The lady at the reception speaks good English and is friendly. Should be emphasized the own parking in the courtyard. Everything was very cramped, but valuable.The breakfast buffet was with us included, costs in the hotel on location but also only 3 Euro. The quality was however an impertinence, tasted, hygienic and optically rather 1 star-jugendherbergscharme the 70's. We have ourselves after the first experience mornings delicious coffee the oxo market and oven warm sweets in the bakery diagonally opposite bought.
