Food was not bad, the breakfast buffet was the same everyday. In the evening there was a different 'themed buffet' in the main restaurant but when the hotel guests declined so did the options. As a vegetarian on several occasions I was made meals to order and the kitchen staff were always eager to please if you wanted something different. The a La Carte Restaurant was expensive but the food was great, we had a private romantic dinner for two and the food that night was excellent

A very nice long public beach is directly in front of the hotel and is easily accessible. The hotel is loosely 'fenced' off and you get on to the beach through gates.

  • Room
    5.0

The room was good, we were in a Deluxe Ocean facing room but there was too many plants in front of ours so we could not see the sea which was a shame. Some people would say this added privacy but for me I would have preferred to have a clear view of the sea. Different strokes for different folks. There was a brilliant coffee machine and kettle in our room and a selection of teas but as there was no milk (only coffee-mate) so we just had expresso.

  • Sport & Leisure
    4.0

There was a band of some sort playing music in the main restaurant every night. The pool area is cosy but nice and clean and beach towels are readily available. We were handed cooled hand towels and fruit on skewers some days which is a nice touch. There was free wi-fi in the lobby area but if you wanted it in your room you had to pay a fee.

  • Service
    5.0

Staff are very friendly, helpful and eager to please. Our room was cleaned every morning and fresh towels were brought each night to replace the ones used. We did need medical assistance and the staff were very good but we needed to go to a local clinic as the injury needed stitches.

Needs to be updated, but maybe it was because I was in the basic room. Suites seem to be much better.

The infinity pool is great. I didn't use the other faclities.

I always go to this hotel when I travel to Seychelles. It is a great place to stay and the staff is helpful. Prices in Seychelles are very expensive, but overall, this hotel offers a good service and the value for money is fine for the islands. read hotel review

The hotel was 2004 built. The main building are lots of wood and thatch-covered, very airy and open to all sides. Good condition and upscale amenities (but certainly under the absolute top-houses, which are also in other price ranges operate). The guest structure was very international and upscale, average age about 30-60 years, mostly couples, few children (but comfortable). German, austrian, swiss, french, italian, english, americans, russians, middle east, Asien. Since the hotel very generous set up, one has the free choice, whether you undisturbed and only would like to be or, if you talk with other tourists want to ... come, for example in the sundowner at the bar. read hotel review

We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. The room suited us, it had a lot of space and everything you need. German television gives it not (except Deutsche Welle messages), we did not miss it. All rooms seem to be (from auße is) something special to have, they fall over the entire hill in several rows and all (partial) sea view. Each room has a terrace.

Very friendly staff, the a lot of trouble. Sometimes it takes a bit longer, as you can tell that the training of some employees are still ongoing. But you're on vacation and needed not hectic to be. One got along with english very well. The room cleaning was always immaculate.

  • Gastronomy

There are two restaurants in the hotel-a buffet in the main building (breakfast and dinner), and an à-la-carte restaurant down at the water (lunch and dinner). Both are recommended and in about the same expensive. The food is varied and depending on weekday oriented at the creole/european/indian/asian/arab cuisine. If you like fish, is in the right place - there is every day freshly caught and very tasty. Meat (except chicken) importing, was so for us not in the focus. Alcoholic drinks are quite expensive, but the local beer (' seybrew' for €7-in cooperation with a bavarian brewery), as well as the open wines (also €7) tasted good. Bottled wine gives it starting from about €3 0. The buffet in the evening is' more lively ' and it is usually a small band. In the a la carte one sits very airy and beautifully, the chefs and servers strict very on, their food. Also down at the water are two bars. In the main bar there was also a small lunch menu. Sitting there very nice. In the other bar gives it from 16 to 17 hours free coffee and cakes. Along the beach there are several nice external restaurants, for example, the 'la plage' (10 minutes walk).

Distance from airport approximately 30 minutes by cab (about €4 0-at the airport one can euros in Seychelles-Rupees exchange or by the money automat pull). The hotel is situated on the left end of the beau vallon bay beach and has the best location on this very beautiful, about 1.5 kilometer long beach. Along the beach are three further hotels (two more under construction), and a few houses, the mostly also are rented. On the beach is a lot going on, but it can because of the size never 'narrow' will. The gardens of the hotel we found very good. The bungalows are on the whole slope distributed, everywhere there are paths and along the pathways on wildlife always something special to see. The best time to look right and left. There is also unlimited the nice snapshots.

  • Sport & Leisure
    5.0

Pool: very nice refreshing and with great views of the sea and beach (Infinity pool). There were always enough beach chairs (one was broken with me, then simply replaced), sometimes not accurately to the desired destination, then one goes simply 20 meters away... Sport: small gym, steam room. A tennis court. You could very well at the beach (circa 1.5 kilometer in one direction). Entertainment: almost every evening a small band. The jazz band with sax i found excellent. Otherwise it was evenings more still, you take a schlummerdrink and go quite early to bed/reads still.
