Amazing hotel! More must you really can't say. In the two days/nights we were very excited by the hotel standard and the great service. Only the forgotten our room clean, there was no points of criticism.
Very recommendable was the room service, which the food in the room served!
Surrounding environment we have to say the you without taxi much aufgeschmissen is. Abu Dhabi was very spacious. The good is however, the taxi there also is very convenient. So one drives times 20-25 kilometer for 4 to 6 euros.

Us wirjlich 3 things disturbed, the a star hotel happening or where the tourist be communicated needs.
1)
The first 2 nights we could not sleep, since an event with about 300 persons in congress center has taken place. On the first night we heard until at 3 o'clock the dull trommelschläge and during the 2. night the party probably in some areas the corridors should be continued. This has actually we not booked.

The designer hotel fairmont has an impressive entrance and a great lobby (the cover changes regularly the color). It is on a inlet directly opposite the mosque. The pool is very big and also the beach offers enough space and beach chairs. A taxi (normal) was always available and very cheap, so that the location for us only a subordinate role played. Places of interest in Abu Dhabi anyway apart (Emirates Palace, mosque, Yas Island, etc.) If you've been at the fairmont presidents club, is the wi-fi access in the room free of charge. Design hotel, the all-round recommendable is, for beach, congress, arab weddings.
Rooms with moscheeblick to the sea/creek book (circa 22 € per day surcharge for on-site booking)
Hsv trainingshotel in the winter 2012/13, good gym.
International and locals as guests.
E tip: if you are going to own taste television, expresses its films on external hard disk and hdmi cable for connection to the existing large lcd tv is the room for home cinema. Also bring along: mehrfachsteckdosenleiste and adapter for english plugs.
I tip: there is free wireless internet, but only on demand at the front desk.
