  Oscar Resort is a well known Holiday complex, located in an enviable position, straddling the sparkling unique waters of the Mediterranean on one side and the imposing Five Fingers Mountains on the other. Recognised as an unspoilt place on the Island. HOTEL Description: Situated in the seaport of northern Cyprus, Kyrenia, the Oscar Resort Hotel is a 4 star resort-hotel as the Kyrenia city centre. The beach is literally outside the door. You can easily reach the city centre by foot, as it is only 1 km away. Other points of interest are the castle and the stronghold of Kyrenia as well as the picturesque Old Town, Kyrenia Castle with its narrow and steep alleyways and the fishing port. Further sights are the folk art museum, the ship wreck museum and the Archangelos church. The resort offers single and double rooms as well as apartments. The rooms have different settings and provide a view of either the city or the sea. Some of the apartments feature a Jacuzzi tub. All rooms come with a mini-bar, an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, TV and many other amenities. A balcony providing a fantastic view is part of every apartment, too. Further amenities are our 3 outdoor pools, private beach as well as our heated indoor pool. The resort also offers a spa and a gym where guests can find a sauna, a steam bath and a Jacuzzi tub. The hotel additionally provides free sunshades, mattress umbrella and sun loungers, a tennis court, table tennis and courtesy train service which run three times a day from hotel to city centre except Sundays.

Some of the best beaches in Northern Cyprus are found on Kyrenia coasts and these include ALAGADI (Turtle Beach) beach where you can partake in windsurfing or just relax on the 1km of sandy beach. Alagadi beach is one not to be missed as this is home to the loggerhead turtles who come here in summer to lay their eggs

  Area Attractions: Oscar Resort, Beach A very new beach and provides most facilities including sun loungers, umbrellas, sun beds mattress and a bar. There is however, an undertow and children that are swimming should be supervised at all times. This beautiful beach boasts 30 meters of sand and shallow crystal clear waters. Alagadi Beach The turtle beach is located approximately 9 ½ miles east of Kyrenia. This sandy beach is full of large sweep-ing dunes and the clear water is also shallow. There is a beach bar open during summer months to serve refreshments and there are also toilets. Alagadi Beach is famous for its loggerhead turtles which lay their eggs here during the summer. Kyrenia Castle This castle has been standing since the 7th Century and many believe it was built to protect the town against raids from the Arab lands. Inside Kyrenia castle you will find a Byzantine church and the tomb of the Ottoman Admiral, Sadik Pasha. There are also the towers, dungeons, an arsenal, a cannon parapet, and the Shipwreck Museum. Visiting Kyrenia castle really is an excellent day out for all the family. The Old Harbour The Harbour in Kyrenia is an enjoyable and relaxing day out. Strolling along the harbour with its calm seas you can take in the amazing views and see the colourful fishing boats and yachts that dock here. Kyrenia harbour is also framed by Kyrenia Castle and as the sun sets on this sleepy harbour you will be amazed by the buzz and excitement that develops as the restaurants and taverns come alive.   DIRECTION: On leaving the exit of the airport, you will find a small roundabout. Go straight through and continue on until you come across a petrol station on your right hand side. After the petrol station there is a large roundabout. When you get to this you will take the left exit off to Kyrenia. (Please bear in mind that you will see a camera signes on the both side of raod “right and left hand side” there is a radar and camera system controlled the traffic. The speed limit is 65 km) You will need to be very careful here not to take the right exit as this will bring you to Famagusta which is on the east of the island. After you have taken the left exit you will continue straight until you come to the Opel Motors show room on your left. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get from the roundabout to the Opel show rooms and this includes three sets of traffic lights and radar/camera “speed limit 65 KM. Some things you will pass will be a Hyundai showroom on your right, a Fiat showroom on your left, and a football stadium on the right. Once you have passed the Futball stadium you will come across one more roundabout with a VW Showroom to the west. You will need to take the right exist towards the mountains heading north. Continue going north direction via Five Fingers Mountains to sea side, Kyrenia. As soon as you arrive to Kyrenia’s first roundabout just take right hand side exit off and drive straight on you will come to traffic lights which you will see the Brellapais Abbey signe on right hand. Drive straight on you will se a big memorial statue just close to the roundabout, please take right hand side exit and drive about 25 meters, you will see Oscar Resort Hotel board on the left and Casino Galaxy board on the right hand side of the road. Just takle left hand side subway you will see Oscar Resort Hotel on nosth side (sea side).

The hotel is located right on its own beach and guests can find restaurants, bars, shopping and the bus station around 1.5 km away. Local sight-seeing attractions are within easy reach, such as Bellapais Abbey, around 3 km away, the Hz Omer Tomb, some 6 km away, St Hilarion Castle, around 10 km away, and the capital Nicosia, roughly 23 km away. It is 35 km to Ercan International Airport while Larnaca International Airport is around 100 km away.
