Hotel Edelweiss^{(3 stars)}

I was with friends 4 nights for the inferno ski races in the Hotel Edelweiss. We had room in the new cultivation. The rooms are wonderful designed. Wooden floor, bath tub, glass shower, large flatbed tv, balcony with direct wonderful view on eiger, monk and jungfrau mountains. The complete staff (and of course the owners) is very nice and helpful, even when it because of the infernorennens to late hour even became louder. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had the most amazing view of the mountains. Their restaurant had great food in gracious servicing sizes. They serve a different beer than most restaurants in Murren and it's better - I talked to the owner about that and he chose that beer specifically. Good taste! Hotel Edelweiss is very well located, in between both stations in Muerren and the rooms to the East have a tremendous mountain view. The rooms are not very big. Make sure you get one with a balcony to really enjoy the best of this breathtaking view. Everything is very clean and the service is very friendly. The food is traditional and the choice maybe a bit limited, but there are a number of restaurants in short walking distance. All in all a hotel that can be recommended.
